Slow Stitching

I almost titled this Slow Stitching Progress.  But then I didn't because I don't really think of this stitching as having an "end".  I enjoy everything about it from selecting the fabric for the patches, to selecting the thread, to deciding what direction to lay the stitches.  I love the way the stitching is changing this jacket from an item I hated to an item I embrace.

I'm linking this post to Kathy's Quilts: Slow Stitching.  (I forgot to do that the last time I posted a picture of this jacket).

Today I am grateful to have "Me Time" to stitch guilt free.

Happy New Year.  Be safe.
xx, Carol
