Gettin New Choppers

I could be getting these

But I'm not.

Nope, Not getting my own helicopter to take me away!!

What would I do with THIS chopper?
Yep.  The bank is broke now.  No choices except toothless.
I will be having my teeth pulled and getting falsies.
Don't let the tongue in cheek fool you.  I am not happy.
I could spend thousands and get a few more miles out of what I have.
But its not adviseable.
So, Tuesday at 1 they are going to put me out and when I come out they'll be a new me.
I am not terrified, but I'm a baby so I'm kinda scared about the day after.
I'm going to let you know how the days after go.  Why? I feel compelled.

If you have good stories..please tell me.
I would prefer not to hear the horrors, please.

  2. i know of 3 people who have had this done... and it all worked out fine... i would be nervous too - they will manage your pain (make sure they do)... but it is a big change... my dad had one implant done and i know that was very expensive... good luck...

  6. You are one tough cookie Carol...I'll be thinking about you on Tuesday. Maybe you should have some type of personal ceremony to welcome and celebrate your new smile. Anything you can do to turn a tough situation into a good one. Good luck, my friend. And I agree with Barbara...Aren't you too young?

It's a scary thing whenever you have one of these "life style" changing events one tends to go through a lot of will I still be me, sort of questions. you will still be you, you will still have a beautiful smile and now you will have roboteeth!)

  15. Just think that the improvements in your ability to eat, talk, and swallow will be so much better. Any pain or discomfort will only be temporary, plus you have Terry, who will take excellent care of you.

    Hugs,
