Finally I Am Posting About BEADS!!!

This is my entry for the Use the Muse II Challenge.
As soon as I saw the shell, I thought about the filigree pieces I had. When they fit perfectly, it all just went together from there. I am pleased with the piece, and I am proud that it gets quite a bit of attention when I wear it. I am keeping it for me.
I'm not really a jewelry designer, so this really was a challenge, mostly because you buy the kit and can use whatever you want from it as long as you use the Muse. Luckily, I loved the colors for this particular challenge.
I have been doing very little beading lately. However, I did start on my BJPs that are long overdue. It seems like every time I sit down with my bead tray something interrupts.
I have a couple of ideas that I am working on to donate as fund raisers for the Booster Club at my grandson's school.
All I need to bead is time, a precious commodity at my house!!

Beautiful filigree and pendant. Agree with you about the time to do beading being in short supply. Granddaughter has taken up most of my time - teaching her to sew.

Wowzer! So is that a shell that you've covered? It is beautiful and I love the way you have done the cord with larger accent beads among the blue. Really effective. You must carve out some time for yourself and do more of this!

It looks great. I know how hard it is to get beading time. Why is what I don't know! I started my May BJP and then set it aside. I really need to do them, I want to do them so why do they get such a low priority?

Wow! What a great piece, Carol! I love what you've done with the pendant. And spiral rope is my all time favorite strap. A really delightful necklace. Hope you enjoy wearing it.

Placing the filigree over the muse piece was an inspired idea Carol! I LOVE it. I think it's quite a dramatic piece. I'm not a jewelry designer either but I'm going to try to learn a thing or two so I can do something with my charms from this Summer....I'm still thinking about your other post, though...wow...

I really like you Beader's Muse piece. If you don't mine my asking where did the filigree come from?
