HER-R-R-R-R-RES DEBBIE!!

If you follow my blog, you may remember the dolls that I beaded as a tribute to my friendship with Deb. If you don't know about them, please go here so you will know the background on this post. Deb beads way better than me, and you can see her work here
This is Deb, my best friend. MY BEST FRIEND. (not counting Terry, of course.) We talk everyday and share just so much of ourselves. I love this picture, and I LOVE the necklace she is wearing and I love her.

  1. I am certain that she appreciates your friendship as much as you appreciates hers. Have a great Memorial Day.

  3. It's great to have a best female friend! My sisters tend to fill the spot for me. We've all moved around so much of our lives having all come from a military family and then marrying military men ourselves. Have a great day off!

  4. What a lovely tribute to Deb. Who says Deb beads better than you? I think both of you do an awesome job. Hope life has slowed down a lil...

Remember you owe me an email.

  7. OMG Carol!!! I can't believe you posted that PIC !!! how funny... I took that pic because my son sent me a pic of himself wearing his new hat and shirt for work and he was sharing so snapped that one back to him... he said you're so weird mom.... Anyway... thank you for the tribute... And the dolls and all the goodies you send me... Its fun to get a box from Indiana... Even though we have never met (we will someday) I feel as though I have known you forever... so maybe a previous lifetime if you believe in that. Your am email is something I always look forward to reading and our after work talks too.

    Much Love, Deb

  8. That is the coolest little tribute to your 'bestest' friend. You both must be peas in a pod. Can't see debs necklace really well, but it looks pretty what I can see. I move around so much it is sometimes hard to have a friend that is that close! Your so lucky to have each other. Cute photo of her too.

To Jacquie... that necklace is one my mom brought me from Egypt it is several strands of turquoise beads, carved bone tubes and strung on string or twine. Very pretty and fun to wear I also have one with coral beads and silver tubes... Someday I will post a blog showing off all my goodies from Mom's travels.. I have a lot. Thanks again Carol for this post...
